Oprah Winfrey has been consistent for being one of the most powerful personalities in the world. How couldn’t it be? She has been influencing people through her self-titled show for more than 25 years.
The Oprah Winfrey Show was first seen on television on January 2, 1984. After that, the program’s success reflected and continuously putting a mark on history. But, every start has its end and the show is scheduled to halt on air in September 2011.
It is remarkable how the people behind it created a venue where everything under the sun can be talked about and discussed by the audience and guests. The interaction has been so encouraging that the significance of the show is absorbed by the TV followers. The topics vary from simple picking of the right undergarments to proper handling of financial loans and cash advance.
It does not stop to getting feedbacks from studio audience — the show reached out even to the farthest side of the world. It is not driven within the four walls of the room but it is aired to teach, uplift and change the belief of its followers to better living.
The most-awaited segment of the show is when Oprah genuinely gives away stuffs that commonly put its watchers in overwhelming awe and surprise. Recently in the last season of the show, she brought the whole audience from Chicago to Australia. Not even fast payday loans can bring most of them to Australia. It really made a blast that the audience cried and left in euphoria. How I wish I was one of
them.
Truly, the program can never be erased in the hearts of the people. It has become the medium of philanthropy. It has helped millions of the poor, of the neglected and of the hopeless.
