When technology captured the world of music, audio players turned into a must-have. It is no longer restricted to a particular age, group or status. Everything is within everybody’s reach. Consider the portable player known as Ipod, an Apple invention which marked a craze to music industry. Students, professionals and even toddlers are now enjoying the utility of this innovative thingy. But did you know how this little gadget came into existence?
Well, during the time of our great grand folks, they used the phonograph to play sound recordings. The machine is distinctive by its big cylinder on top. Then, there was gramophone which runs flat discs to play music. Check your grand father’s house and maybe, you will find one.
The cassette player evolved and was incorporated in a radio. Also, we had the “Walkman” which came in handy that was much smaller than the size of a radio and we listened through earphones. It plays cassette tapes which became the media of music industry to distribute songs released by producers. Recording is also trouble-free that even the common users can do so by themselves.
After that, compact disc players appeared and made famous. People were using the smaller version of flat discs. CD players, as it was known, developed into a fine tuned gadget. CDs can be rewritable and storing music requires a CD burner.
Technology has no plans of making it into a halt. It continues to introduce MP3 and MP4’s which give power to users to easily download songs from internet, transfer it from the computer to another channel like IPods. Not only that, hundreds and thousands of songs can be saved. Now, you can enjoy listening anywhere anytime!
Transmission of sound will never end. Whatever means it may be, it will continue to exist. They are like plants grown without a soil but hydroponic supplies. These players are the water that channels the cultivation of music.
