Smartbro Sucks BIGTIME!
Since I have a big problem with my laptop and its internet connection at home, I can only sigh while updating this blog through proxy while taking a break from work. I don’t know why all of a sudden I cannot browse at home. There’s only a less than sign (<) every time I try to open internet explorer or Mozilla firefox. And it has been more than a week!
Last night, my IT friend and smart representative tried to trouble shoot the problem for more than two hours. It’s hard to call smartbro, most especially if your call after being answered will end up in a busy tone. Another call will take you an hour! And it seems that the problem of that less than sign is so peculiar, my IT friend and the smartbro representative wasn’t able to solve it. My laptop is running with smart’s prepaid plug in, you can use the internet on another’s house – technically the laptop has no problem. The internet connection at home is running too, I can use it to browse using my husband’s laptop. So my laptop and the internet connection are both running BUT they don’t jive! But smart cannot do something about it! I pay them regularly on more than what they bill me, as a client who earns somehow online – I am losing income and don’t deserve this kind of poor service by smart!
Now, my option is to call smartbro again after 24 hours if that less than sign still exists in my browser. But my patience is already running out of the door! My only choice is to request for smart technical team to come over our house but the rep said it should be approved first by their support group. Whoever that support group is – Please fix it ASAP!
